CERTHIONYX; Certhionyx: Certhia, Cuv.  Bec de la longueur de la tête, déprimé à la base, comprimé à la pointe, à bords lisses, à pointe égale, à arête vive et légèrement recourbée, convexe. Fosses nasales grandes, couvertes d'une membrane; narines percées obliquement en avant; ailes médiocres, à première et deuxième rémiges les plus longues.
