Cyclorhynchus subbrunneus, Scl. P.Z.S. 1860, pp. 282, 295. Myiochanes subbrunneus, Scl. Cat. p. 232. ... For this curious form, which will not go with either of the genera to which it has been hitherto referred, we propose the new generic term Cnipodectes*.
