Iðunn or Iduna, goddess of spring and fertility, keeper of the magic apples of rejuvenation, who was changed into a sparrow to enable her rescue by Loki, in falcon form, from the giant Þjazi or Thiassi (Raul Mohedano in litt.); "IDUNA:  235.
