In der Schnabelbildung der Gattung Cyphorhinus am nächsten, aber mit weniger zusammengedrücktem an der Basis breiterem, an der Spitze stärker gebogenem Schnabel mit weniger runden Nasenlöchern; Flügel und Schwanz stärker entwickelt. ***)Wir halten den in Brasilien vorkommenden Vogel von dem Coraya des Buffon P. coraya Nob. Turdus coraya G. Lath. verschieden. Letzterer scheint vorzüglich nur in Cayenne und Guiana vorzukommen, ist kleiner als der brasilische und lebhafter gefärbt.
