(Furnariidae; † Canebrake Groundcreeper C. dendrocolaptoides) Gr. κλιβανος klibanos oven, baking oven; ορνις ornis, ορνιθος ornithos bird; "CLIBANORNIS gen. nov. ... (κλιβανος, furnus et ορνις, avis). Genus affine Furnario, sed cauda elongata rigida, et rostro longiore diversum: nares, sicut in Furnario, patulae. Typus, C. DENDROCOLAPTOIDES, i.e. Anabates dendrocolaptoides, Temm. M.S. et Pelzeln, Sitz. Wien. Ak. xxxiv. p. 104, ex Brasilia." (P.
