This affects the names of two forms of C. curvirostra ...C. c. transvaalensis Roberts (1936, Rustenburg) is preoccupied by Mirafra africana transvaalensis Hartert 1900” (White 1960) (syn. Certhilauda semitorquata transvaalensis).
