(Sylviidae; Ϯ Pale-billed Parrotbill C. atrosuperciliaris oatesi) Gr. χλευασια khleuasia  mockery  < χλευαζω khleuazō  to scoff; "Chleuasicus, nobis, n. g.  Nearly allied to Suthora, Hodgson (Ind. Rev. 1838, p. 32, and J.A.S. XII, 449), from which it is distinguished by the considerably larger proportionate size of the legs, and by the rather larger and decidedly broader bill, the outline of which (as seen laterally) is still more tumid and anomalous-looking.
