Die Gruppe unterscheidet sich sowohl durch den feineren Schnabel, wie in der ganzen Gestalt von Anmodromus [sic], wohin der Typus bisher gestellt wurde, und nähert sich vielmehr der Gattung Poospiza von welcher sie sich sofort durch die zugespitzten Schwanzfedern unterscheidet."
